Open access is how CIMEGS publishes. The digital edition of a book is free to read, download, and share, anywhere, at no cost to the reader.
Each publication carries a Creative Commons licence, stated on its page, in its metadata, and inside the book itself, so a reader knows exactly what they may do with it. Third-party material held under different terms is identified clearly.
Titles suited to print appear in a printed edition as well. Open access does not mean an author gives up their rights: copyright stays with the author, and the licence sets out what the reader may do.
