This policy applies to standalone research reports, institutional research publications, handbooks, and comparable works outside the scholarly peer-review route.

Assessment

Each publication is assessed for relevance, evidence, accuracy, structure, rights, and suitability for the Institute’s publishing programme.

Specialist input

The editorial team commissions external specialist readings when the subject, the method, the technical content, or the implications of the findings call for further expertise.

Fact checking

Factual claims, quotations, references, tables, and other verifiable material are checked during editorial preparation.

Transparency

Publications on this route are labelled Editorially reviewed, so a reader always knows how a book was assessed.
